Relationship Workshop-May 15th
This workshop will focus on a self-reflection exercise. Zoom 3pm EST
Service Description
This workshop will focus on a self-reflection exercise that will help you to get to the root of your beliefs about relationships. Sometimes our ideas about relationships come from our parents or caregivers as well as others. Romantic movies usually portray a very idealized image of what romantic relationships and love should look like. These movies often portray a struggling protagonist who is saved by prince charming and of course, they live happily ever after. Often, we don't get to see what happens after the credits roll. What happens next when kids, jobs, and other life challenges show up? We grow up with an idea about how love should be. The reality of our experience with a partner who is not perfect often does not match up to the movie version. In this workshop, I will supportively guide you to uncover what unconscious or conscious beliefs or "myths" you may be holding about relationships and help you to explore the effects of holding these beliefs on your life and wellbeing. Please bring something to write with and a journal or notebook for this powerful workshop reflection. I look forward to sharing this self-awareness workshop with you!
